Have you ever known someone before they became famous? Well this episode’s guest had a professor who did just that.
In this episode we hear from Topsy Siderowf (Smith College ‘61) to discuss her experience at Smith College in the 1950-60's and how Smith has impacted her long career. Topsy was also lucky enough to have a personal experience with one of Smith College’s most famous alums, Sylvia Plath, who was her English professor her freshman year. She even shares her evening having dinner with Sylvia and her husband Ted Hughes in a Smith dorm and how she learned that Sylvia really did like her and her class.
